So here it is finally - the bird of paradise that's been in the planning and designing stages for almost two years. The bird's tail feathers will morph into a series of trailing vines that will wrap down around my leg and end on the top of my foot.

The vine is about being grounded - the bird about my freedom to soar and together they represent my balance between earth and sky.

In the end it will be a series of designs, all of which have personal meaning for me, that will stretch uninterrupted from one end of me to the other involving both the left and right sides of my body. Anchoring it all is my daughter Aurelia's name and the names of her children - the fruit of my loins.

Everything else reaches out from there as art imitates life.
Not a very good picture but it does give at least some idea of where the vine is going and how it morphs out of the bird's tailfeathers.

I'm pretty good at taking pictures of other people's bodies but apparently not so good at taking pictures of my own.
And as long as we're here on the no secrets page, I got a Prince Albert  a couple of years ago and thought I might as well include a progress report on that as well. Here's a picture my buddy Richard took during the piercing...
Richard got his Prince Albert several years ago and had been after me for a long time to get one too because he said I'd love it.  I kept saying no, the tatts were enough but I couldn't get it outta my head. So one rowdy Saturday night Richard went with me to the piercer and I got it done.

Wasn't so sure about it at first - it took a little  longer  to heal than I thought it would and it slowed my playtime down a little. OK, let's just get it out there  -  I took it for a test drive the very first night. Maybe I should have waited a day or two longer? Anyway, once it healed it was great and now well over two years later I'm totally into it and loving it and glad I got it done. I'm up to a 00 gauge circular barbell and have recently started wearing my original piece of jewelry along with it.

Why?

Why not.
I know how a lot of people perceive genital piercings because I thought exactly the same way about them before I got mine done. I remember thinking to myself, "No way on earth would I ever do that to my penis!"

But I did it and I love it. The presence of the jewelry is mildly stimulating all the time because the piercing goes right through the frenum, which is the most sensitive part of the head. The weight of the jewelry keeps things moving because I wear baggy shorts and no underwear. The weight tugging at my penis and the constant feeling of gentle movement is what makes it so amazing.

I'm always aware of the subtle stimulation even though I almost never think about the piercing itself anymore. It just feels good, otherwise I would have taken the jewelry out a long time ago and let the hole heal up and close.

Would I recommend it? Hell yes. It's an act of bravery with some pretty amazing payoffs.
And here's the piercing a couple of weeks after I had it done starting out with an 8 gauge captive bead ring. Scroll on down for a current picture.
Here's a great piece of jewelry in a 0 gauge that I've had a lot of fun with. This is called a captive bead ring because the bead locks into place tightly and isn't as likely to come undone as a regular screw-in ball. Downside is that it's tough to take it off - and sometimes, like for oral sex, it needs to come off.
This is a good shot showing exactly where the piercing goes through the frenum on the underside of the glans. This is a 0 gauge circular barbell and both of the balls screw off easily.
I've had a lot of people ask about the jewelry coming out of the urethra and if it impedes or blocks the flow of urine and semen. The answer is no, it doesn't block anything because the weight of the jewlery when it's this size also stretches the urethral opening. Everything flows just fine.
This is an updated picture of the jewelry that I currently wear. This is a 00 gauge circular barbell and occasionally, as in this picture, I wear it with my original piece of jewelry that's an 8 gauge captive bead ring.
