My deepest thanks go out to the beautiful women and men who over the years have trusted me with their bodies, their faces and sometimes their reputations and livelihoods. I have never taken for granted the kind of courage and self-assurance it takes to get in front of a camera.
I work with models, actors, dancers, singers, athletes and entertainers because I love who they are, I love what they do and I'm fascinated by their expressions of self. I had no idea when I started shooting professionally back in 1983 that I was in for such an amazing journey - I only knew that I loved taking pictures of people.
My work as a photographer is my passion. People are my passion. I've taken lots of pictures of inanimate things and I always keep coming back to what I know and love most. So to all of you who've ever been in front of my camera, thank you. I honor you.
